Residents of Bashkortostan can watch “falling stars” in the night between December 13 and 14

Residents of Bashkortostan can watch meteor shower of Geminides. This night the meteor shower, already watched on December 6-19, will reach its maximum. One can watch Geminides already on December 13 at 21-22 o’clock, when the Twins and, correspondingly, the radiant of Geminides come up over the eastern horizon. The shower’s activity will increase as far as the Twins go up above the horizon, reaching the maximal height at three o’clock at night. The best time for watching Geminides is December 14 between 1 and 3 o’clock (Ufa time).
