Acceptance of applications to mass-media contest “Dot-Journalism” started in Bashkiria

Representatives of mass-media RB are invited to participation in the contest of publication to domain themes “Dot-journalism”.

“The contest is international and it is held for the second time in 2012, being the only competition to this thematic on CIS territory” – initiators of the competition, including Russian El+ectronic Communications Association, Coordination National Domain Internet Center and the company RU-CENTER, report.

Applications for participation are accepted till March 31, 2012, the Agency for the press and mass-media RB reports. The jury will consider materials of all genres, published in printed and online editions and broadcasted by radio and TV within the period between March 31, 2012 and March 31, 2013.

Winners will be determined in seven nominations: “Domain analytics” (the best analytical material), “Domain series” (a cycle of publications by one author), “Point of Event” (reporting about actions and other events of the branch), “Domains in Frame” (the best TV reporting), “Domain Podcast” (the best radio reporting), “Youth Editorial Staff” (the best material, published by journalists at the age under 25), “Beyond RUNET” (the best material in Russian language, published by mass-media beyond Russia).

Journalists of regional mass-media may compete for the victory in special nominations: “Regions Speak” (the best regional press material), “The best domain regional material” (determined at regional level separately for the regions-participants) and “The best regional blog publication” (determined separately for the regions-participants).

Totals of the contest will be summed up at Russian internet forum “RIF+KIB-2013”, in April in Moscow region.
