Scientists of Bashkortostan are busy with prophylactics of religious extremism

An informational-enlightener group of the scientific center for Muslim education development under the Bashkir State Pedagogical University has visited the town of Oktyabrski. Its staff included the dean of theological-pedagogical faculty of Russian Islamic University under the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia Arthur Garifullin, the docent of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University, candidate of pedagogical sciences Rinat Kalimullin and director of the Islamic college by Miriam Sultanova Ildar Malakhov.

The scientists were talking to students of the madrasah “Nurul-Islam”, religious Muslim leaders of the town and to directors of local educational institutions.

During these meeting the lecturers were accentuating the attention on formation of personal moral-spiritual values and on spirituality of young people and teenagers. The lecturers said that all traditional religions valued human qualities first of all – diligence, kindness, mercy, tolerance etc but condemned aggression, bad habits and intolerance.

This informational enlightener project is found under development in Bashkiria in the course of last two years and the main goal of such enlightener work is prophylactics of religious extremism and elucidation of Islamic basics, specialists of Oktyabrski administration reported.
