Family-tree festival will be held in all villages of Ufimski region RB till the New Year

Family-tree festivals, devoted to the Year of happy childhood and family values in Republic of Bashkortostan, will take place in all settlements of Ufimski region RB on November 12-December 23, 2012. The corresponding enactment is signed by the head of the regional municipality. This national festival will consist of two stages and any resident may join it after submitting the corresponding application to the contest committee and introducing his/her family tree and a contest’s program.

Within the frames of the first stage – November 12-December 2 – round-table discussions, excursions to historical places of interest, folk band shows, exhibitions of decorative and applied arts and fairs of souvenirs and national cookery will be organized in all settlements.

The second stage will be held on December 2-23 and the best family-trees of families and clans in every settlement will be introduced there. The contest programs will be estimated by the jury, which staff includes folklore scientists, members of the organizing committee, historians, activists of culture and art.
