Ufa State Aviation Technical University celebrates the 80th anniversary

Jubilee arrangements, devoted to the 80th anniversary of foundation, will take place at Ufa State Aviation Technical University (UGATU), its press center reports.

Thus, solemn meeting of UGATU academic council will take place on November 16 and solemn evening party will take place at Bashkir State Theater of opera and ballet.

Today UGATU represents a big scientific-educational innovational center, found in Top 20 of Russian institutes, called the pride of Russia. Its staff includes eight day-time education faculties, an evening-time faculty at Ufa engine plant (UMPO) and five divisions in Bashkir towns. About 20 thousand students study here in 30 directions and by 62 specialties. More than 200 doctors of sciences, 700 candidates of sciences, more than 100 academicians and corresponding members of state, sectoral and public academies of Russia and foreign countries work at the University for today.
