Bashkir religious activists equate failure to comply with traffic rules with deadly sins
Press conference, devoted to the memory of victims of traffic accidents, has taken place in the news agency “Bashinform”. Officers of the traffic police used this chance to remind of the traffic rules. “More than 4 thousand traffic accidents have occurred in the republic in 2012. 636 people died and 5474 received traumas” – the chief of Bashkir traffic police Dinar Gilmutdinov reported.
Religious activists of Bashkortostan equated the failure to comply with traffic rules with deadly sins. “Situation in our roads is not just a problem of traffic police but a spiritual problem too. Even in our sermons we always remind of the duty to follow the traffic rules, since our lives depend on that” – the Supreme Mufti of Russia, the chairman of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept RF Talgat Tadjuddin said.
“Accidents, committed by drunken drivers, have to be equated with calculated homicide’ – the national artist RB Fadis Ganiev is sure. The representative of Youth Chamber RB Tagir Gizatullin has paid attention to the fact that the majority of victims were young men. An employee of the company “Double GIS-Ufa” Yana Volkova has told that jointly with Bashkir traffic police they added the information about dangerous crossroads and stationary observation cameras to their electronic map and the schemes of safe routes for children from homes to schools are found under designing now.
