“Flowers of Asia” blossomed out in November Ufa

Gala-show of the first festival of national cultures “Flowers of Asia”, initiated by Ministry of culture RB and the Friendship House RB and held within the frames of the Presidential grant RB, has taken place at the National Youth Theater by M. Karim. Popularization of national traditions of Asian nations, preservation of their multi-sided heritage and history and assistance to active participation of representatives of Asian countries in cultural life of the Republic, widening of cultural communications and strengthening of friendship between nations, living on the territory of Bashkortostan were the main aims of the festival.

The first deputy Minister of culture RB Valentine Latypova has said that historically our land has become the motherland for many nations and no lingual and religious distinctions can become obstacles for peaceful and constructive life in our common home.

“More than 120 nations live in Republic of Bashkortostan and our history proved many times that only agreement between people of different nationalities, the dialogue between culture and religion and joint efforts of the state and public institutes could become a solid base for our prosperity and progress” – she stated.

Amateur and professional artists, bands of different ages and nationalities, playing in the nominations “Vocal”, “Choreography”, “Musical Instruments” and “Spoken Word” have become participants of the gala-show. All of them have passed preliminary elimination stages, held by Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Tajik and Turkmen national-cultural centers RB.

All participants of the show have received diplomas of laureates and keepsakes.
