President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov estimated readiness of reconstructed Ufa Sports Palace

On Friday, November 9, the President RB Rustem Khamitov has inspected the Ufa Sports Palace, for the first time opened after reconstruction.

The President RB visited new press center, more spacious and comfortable, the ice ring, where young hockey players were training that moment, and locker rooms.

“Ufa Sports Palace was opened 45 years ago. Capital repair and wide-scaled modernization have been done here for the first time” – the President RB mentioned –“the oil company “BASHNEFT” has rendered an all-sided assistance to modernization of this object. I say many thanks to the leaders of this company that they found enough money to make it – almost 400 million rubles. For nine months new variant of the Sports Palace has been erected practically from zero. I hope that the quality of all works will satisfy the sportsmen”.

The President of Bashkortostan has mentioned that in the nearest future the Palace will receive the best youth teams of the planet. Young sportsmen will also struggle for prizes here in February 2013 during the VI Winter International Children Games. Besides, it is worth thinking about holding of a world hockey championship for adults here too, Rustem Khamitov said.
