“KITAP” published textbook “The basics of Islamic culture”

Bashkir publishing house “KITAP” issued the textbook “The basics of Islamic culture”, meant for junior pupils of general education institutions.

As it is known, the subject “The basics of religious cultures and secular ethics” is included into the curriculum this year. The edition acquaints pupils with spiritual and moral values of Islam. Pupils will receive information about life and activity of the prophet Muhammad, about origin and development of Islam, formation of its ethics and about main Muslim commandments.

Special attention in the textbook is paid to the Muslims, living on the territory of Russia. The textbook is included into the educational programs “The School of Russia” and “Perspective”.
