Bashkortostan is preparing itself for National Unity Day

Several public, cultural and sports actions will take place in the capital RB on November 4 – the National Unity Day. Thus, Ufa administration reports a festive show will take place in Ufa Culture Palace and charitable film shows and lectures will be organized in Ufa cinema-theaters.

A light athletics cross-country race will take place in the park by M. Gafuri and the XIII traditional basketball tournament in the memory of A. Znamenski for pupils and veterans will be held on November 3-4 in the sports center “NEFTYANIK”.

The National Unity Day, officially celebrated in the country since November 4, 2005, is connected with one of the key events in Russian history – liberation of Moscow from Polish invaders on November 4, 1612.
