About 16 thousand people in Bashkiria fell ill with acute respiratory virus diseases in Bashkiria for the last week, including about 4 thousand in Ufa. The level of sickness rate in the Republic is lower than the epidemic threshold by 5,7% and in Ufa –by 22,4%.

Immunization campaign is going on in the region. 500 thousand doses of the vaccine “Grippol” was delivered for immunization of adults and 215844 doses of the vaccine “Grippol Plus”- for children.

Medics remind that at present time vaccination remains one of the most efficient methods of prophylactics.

Children at the age of 6 months and older, pupils, students and some categories of adults (medics, teachers, workers of transport and communal sphere) and citizens, older than 60, are vaccinated free at the expense of means of the federal budget.
