Citizens of Bashkiria have junked almost 10 thousand mercury lamps

The only in Bashkiria movable point for reception of mercury-containing wares from population – the eco-truck of the state unitary enterprise “TABIGAT” – has received about 10 thousand old mercury lamps and thermometers since the beginning of 2012.

The engineer-ecologist of “TABIGAT” Albina Shamsutdinova reports that thanks to the ecological action, held in Sterlitamac on October 24, 1400 energy-saving and mercury-luminescent lams have been collected. All lamps were delivered for the special site for utilization of dangerous waste.
