State Duma intends to open a public council of bloggers
State Duma of Russia intends to establish a public council of experts-bloggers under the committee for informational policy and mass-media.
The head of the committee Alexei Mitrofanov would like to attract this new supervisory body to discussion of all internet themes as a carrier of wide public opinion.
It is expected that the council’s staff will include the most active bloggers, system administrators of internet resources and owners of social networks.
The question concerning establishment of such council will be under consideration at the first gathering of the new committee. The gathering will take place in the first half of October.
