The best pedagogues were honored in Ufa on the eve of the Teacher Day

112 best teachers of Bashkortostan gathered in Ufa on the eve of their professional holiday. 37 winners of federal grants within the frames of the national project “Education”, 50 winners of the republican contest for teachers of Bashkir and Russian languages and literature and 25 young teachers, marked with grants of the President RB gathered on Thursday, October 4, in the Trade-Unions House.

Education today is considered a top priority direction both for federal and Republican authority, the Minister of education RB Alfis Gayazov said before the solemn flower ceremony. A wide-scaled program for renovation of the material and technical base, capital repair of schools and purchasing of computer equipment is found under development in the region at present time.

“For the last two years more than three billion rubles of federal means was allocated for development of education” – the Minister stated.

At the same time Alfis Gayazov admitted that “many drawbacks and difficulties can still be observed in education sphere”. But he expressed assurance that it is quite possible to overcome these obstacles and continue moving forward quite dynamically, being in a dialogue and working up joint solutions.

“We shall establish the networks of basic schools in every region. In 2013 more than 400 million rubles will be allocated fr om the federal budget and approximately the same sum from the Republican one for their repair and maintenance” – Alfis Gayazov said – “We will gradually restore the posts of social pedagogues, psychologists and speech therapists at these schools. Such schools will become basic according to the quality of education, offered there. We also intend to develop the network of boarding schools, wh ere it is possible”.

The Minister thanked teachers for their noble labor and wished them and their families strong health and every success.
