Representatives of Bashkiria will participate in the first national congress of Russian medics

The first national congress of medics, initiated by Russian Ministry for health protection with the purpose of realization of state policy in sphere of health protection and rise of efficiency of national health protection system, will take place in Kremlin Palace on October 5.

About 6 thousand delegates – doctors from all regions of the country, representatives of public medical organizations and communities, trade-unions of medical workers, pedagogues and scientists of medical education institutions, heads of health protection supervisory bodies and deputies of regional governors for social policy – will take part in the congress. About 130 people will present Republic of Bashkortostan in Kremlin.

Such themes as the role of medical community in realization of state policy in sphere of health protection, the main directions of professional training and manpower policy and elaboration of corporate medical liability will be under discussion as well as the ethic code of Russian doctors and development of self-government in professional medical environment.

In opinion of Russian Minister of health protection Veronica Skvortsova the main aim of the congress will be formation of a unified medical structure, able to take plenty of various competences upon itself: “It can be establishment of professional standards, renovation of educational programs, formation of principles and methods of accreditation of medical specialists etc. The structure has to be self-regulated and self-renovated” – the Minister stated.

Press service of Ministry of health protection RB reports that solemn flower ceremony for winners of the all-Russian contest “The Best Doctor-2011” will also take place within the frames of the congress and the list of winners includes six doctors from Bashkortostan.
