Mercury lamps will be accepted free at interregional eco-forum in Ufa

Special mobile point – eco-truck - for collection of old energy-saving lamps will work on October 8-10 in front of the Ufa Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK” within the frames of the III Ecological forum and the specialized exhibition “Ural Ecology-Industrial Safety-2012”.

Any citizen of Ufa may give old mercury lamps in absolutely free. Energy-saving, luminescent lamps and thermometers will be also traditionally accepted.

The eco-truck will work from 10 to 17 o’clock.

“We urge all citizens of Ufa to join our action. Come and bring your broken-down energy-saving and mercury-luminescent lamps. Make your contribution to wild life conservation and make the first step to separate waste collection” – engineer-ecologist of the state unitary enterprise “TABIGAT” Albina Usupova addressed herself to citizens of the capital RB.

According to her since the beginning of the year the eco-truck has accepted eight thousand mercury-containing wares from population and Republican enterprises. The next raid for collection of broken-down lamps is planned to hold in the town of Sterlitamac.
