The seventh volume of Bashkir encyclopedia is presented in Ufa

Presentation of the final seventh volume of the multi-volume Bashkir encyclopedia has taken place in Ufa Congress-Hall on Friday, September 28, within the frames of all-Russian scientific-practical conference “Historical experience, actual problems in development of Russian regional encyclopedian science”.

Members of the editorial body and editorial collegium, authors of the encyclopedia and encyclopedian scientists from republics of Altai and Tatarstan have taken part in presentation.

The deputy head of the Presidential Administration RB Marat Mardanov has read out the words of welcome of the President RB. The pages of the encyclopedia show the whole variety of the centuries-old culture of Bashkir nation, the economic potential and natural uniqueness of the Republic, said in the Presidential message.

The President RB has underscored that Bashkir encyclopedia is a visit card of our Republic and its multinational population and now both world and Russian community gets a chance to know more about Bashkortostan.

Rustem Khamitov has also mentioned in his message that preparation of this edition contributed to consolidation of the scientific community RB and to further development of regional researches, thus anticipating development of Bashkir national-regional encyclopedian science. The Republic possesses all necessary things for that; the region has enough scientific potential, favorable social-economic and political conditions and solid traditions of book-publishing.
