All-Russian forum of geneticists is held at Bashkir State University

The united plenum of Russian Academy of Sciences’ scientific council for genetics and selection and the central council of Vavilov Society of geneticists and selectionists as well as the all-Russian conference of young scientists “Actual problems of genetics of man, flora and microorganisms” is held at the Bashkir State University today.

The main theme of the forum is teaching genetics and spreading of knowledge in this sphere. The Bashkir State University was chosen the site of the forum not accidentally. The chair of genetics and fundamental medicine, established at the University’s biological faculty two years ago, actively develops itself. Besides, there is the Institute of biochemistry and genetics in Ufa, which the chair actively cooperates with.

The forum will be over on September 26.
