500 days till Olympic Games-2014 have been celebrated in Ufa

The organizing committee “Sochi-2014” prepared a festive program on Tuesday, September 25 – the day, when just 500 days are left till the first Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in history of the country. This program is widely marked all over the country now and various sports and cultural actions will take place in 17 Russian cities. The all-national sports relay race, where volunteers of “Sochi-2014” from 26 volunteer centers from 14 Russian regions are to take part, will become the culmination of the festival.

Ufa also supported this all-Russian action and the sports-mass action with the jolly volunteer relay race was organized on the Lenin’s Square by Ufa administration and the Directorate of the VI Winter Children Games. Volunteers of the Bashkir State Medical University and the center “Indigo” also took part in the all-Russian action “500 days till Olympic Games”.

Presentation of the VI Winter Children Games, which will be held in Ufa on February 26-March 3, 2013, has also taken place within the frames of the action.
