The Fund for support and development of science started working in Bashkiria

A meeting of the non-commercial organization “The Fund for support and development of science” has taken place in the Academy of Sciences RB, press-secretary of the Academy Svetlana Sedeleva reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

The staff of the Fund’s administration and board of trustees consist of representatives of the authority, legislative power bodies, science and big innovational business.

The chairman of the Fund’s board of trustees, the head of Presidential Administration RB Vladimir Balabanov says the Republic is interested first of all in support of young scientists, in search for alternative sources of financing of innovational projects and in popularization of science. The head of Presidential Administration RB offers to work up the exact and transparent rules, which would be interesting and understandable for investors.

The Fund for support and development of science will be occupied with systematization of all kinds of support of innovational projects, with elaboration of regulations and estimation of the projects, including estimation with participation of foreign experts and estimation of efficient financing schemes for authors of the projects and investors. Besides, within the frames of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s summit in Ufa in 2015 the Fund intends to hold a scientific forum, devoted to problems of international cooperation.

The non-commercial organization “The Fund for support and development of science RB” was established in May 2012 with the purpose of making the infrastructure for support of fundamental and applied researches, integration of scientific achievements in Republican economic, for promotion of these achievements in external and internal markets and for popularization of science. The Fund is established by the Academy of Sciences RB.
