An autumn ecological month’s campaign to be held in Ufa

An autumn ecological month’s campaign for sanitary cleaning and beautification starts in Ufa on September 10. The action is traditionally dated to the forthcoming celebration of the Day of Republic of Bashkortostan.

The housing-communal service and beautification department of Ufa reports they intend to hold weekly sanitary Fridays plus one all-town subbotnik within the frames of the action. Subbotnik will take place in the capital RB on September 29.

Local landfill will receive all garbage, collected by participants of the subbotnik, absolutely free. Municipal organizations may deliver it for the landfill free during the whole action period – from September 10 to October 10.

One year ago thanks to the autumn month’s sanitary action the capital of Bashkortostan has got rid of 31 thousand cubic meters of garbage. 414 thousand citizens of Ufa have become its participants that time.
