Alfis Gayazov: All schools of Bashkiria are ready for the new academic year

All schools of Bashkortostan are ready to welcome pupils on September 1. The Minister of Education of our republic Alfis Gayazov informed about it at the press conference at the office of the “Komsomolskaya Pravda in RB” newspaper.

“Readiness for academic year is a complex concept,” the head of the department explained. “On the one hand, it is readiness of school buildings. Current year in total 972 million roubles allocated both from federal, and republican budgets were spent for major repairs in 795 schools. Two more directions are material and technical facilities and staffing level. Here, according to the minister, there are no problems either.

And still, Alfis Gayazov complained that not all schools of the republic will be opened on September 1: in six objects the planned repairs proceed which should be finished till the end of 2012.

Meanwhile, in the new educational year 439 thousand pupils and 43 800 first-graders from them will occupy school desks in 1666 schools.
