Preparation for the international eco-action «Let’s Do It! World Cleanup 2012»

In Bashkiria it is defined so far more than two tens of places for the territory cleaning within the limits of the international eco-action «Let’s Do It! World Cleanup 2012».

In Russia this ecological civil action «Let's Do It! World Cleanup 2012» will take place on September 15. It will unite 83 regions, over 1800 areas and 22000 municipal unions of the country.

“At the moment about 20 different companies of Ufa announced their participation in the civil project «Let's Do It!». Thus each of them chooses this or that site for the territory cleaning from the list offered by us, or offers its own,” Guzel Latypova, the head of social movement "EKA" in Bashkortostan informs.

As she said, broadcasting of social clips with participation of famous sportsmen and TV presenters had already begun on two local television channels. They explain to the audience why it is so important to be engaged in environment protection, and also urge them to take part in the scale civil action «Let's Do It!».

The Ufa administration took upon itself to provide participants of the city civil volunteer clean-ups with gloves, bags, and also garbage disposal.

For today the majority of places for carrying out civil clean-ups are in Ufa, or nearby from it. Among offered places is the bank of the Pavlovsk water basin, Lake Akmanai in Chishminsky area, Ufa Victory Park (descent), Kalinin Park, Gafuri Park, Aksakov Park, Lesovodov Bashkiria Park, Mashinostroitelei Park, Krupskaya Garden, Nepeitsevsky Dendropark, Lake Teoploye, a wild beach in Deoma-2 and quay of the river White.
