Rustem Khamitov: «Sports of records should be in Bashkiria»

On August 23, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with participants of XXX Summer Olympic Games in London. At the meeting there was the world-class track and field athlete Grigory Andreev, the world-class swimmer Anton Anchin, the master of sports in fencing Arthur Ahmathuzin, the deserved master of sports in women boxing Elena Savelyeva and the deserved master of sports in track and field athletics Liliya Shobuhova.

The President marked that in development of sports of records the harmonious system of financing, infrastructure, trainer's structure was important.

“We should develop such kinds of sports as, track and field athletics, swimming, fencing, we can’t be best in all Olympic disciplines,” the head of the republic underlined.

As he said, first of all worthy conditions for trainings should be created.

“We should find means and possibilities that our sportsmen could train and show good results. I hope that our new Deputy Minister on the Youth Policy and Sports Pavel Muslimov, the skilled sportsman, will put the situation in motion,” the President of Bashkortostan expressed his hope.
