Except "black" list, «white list» of Internet sites can appear in Russia

The so-called «white list» of websites can appear in Russia along with the "black" one, the President RF has signed the federal law about it on July 28, 2012. This topic was discussed at the first session of the working group concerning the safe Internet, which took place in the Ministry of Telecom & Mass Communications RF headed by the minister Nikolay Nikiforov and the vice-speaker of the State Duma Sergey Zheleznyak.

Participants of the session supported the offer to create white lists of the authorized websites. This list offers to limit Internet access in educational institutions and in public places where identification cards are not required for access to the network and, as consequence, it is impossible to establish age of this or that user. It is supposed to attract branch experts, and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia for its drawing up, the website of the Ministry of Telecom informs.
