Ufa chemical factory exceeded ammonia emissions in 110 times

Having been tired to breathe industrial wastes, inhabitants of Sipailovo district in Ufa reported the chemical factory "Dubitel" to the Office of Public Prosecutor. The check revealed excess of maximum permissible emissions of phenol in 3,7 times and ammonia in 110 times, the department informs. «The reason of hazardous substances emission above permitted standards into atmosphere was usage of doubtful data at drawing up of technical documentation», the press-service of Office of Public Prosecutor RB specifies. At present the part of harmful manufacture is stopped. Under the court decision specifications on emissions are brought into accord with the law at the factory. The responsible person is punished also — the chief of environment protection department is fined for 3,5 thousand roubles.
