"Bashinform.ru" became absolute citation leader among Bashkortostan websites

Following the results of July the main website of JSC "Bashinform" News Agency in the "Yandex-catalogue" rating became the absolute citation leader among all websites of Bashkortostan, including mass media websites. For the second summer month its TCI (thematic citation index under "Yandex" version) rose by 200 points and made 3600.

On citation "Bashinform" rose on the sixth position in the list of regional and district news agencies of the country — after "PrimaMedia news agency (Vladivostok, news of several subjects RF included in the Far East Federal District).

Since 2010 the Bashinform website’s TCI increased by 700 points (from 2900 to 3600). In the rating of all Russian-speaking news agencies, including Russian federal websites, and also the Ukrainian, Israeli, Belarus news agencies, Bashinform occupies the 27th place as of July, 2012, having moved for a year for three positions upwards.

The comparable resources rating indicator by Google PageRank for Bashinform.ru website makes 6/10.

“The citation index increase of the Bashinform.ru website, is certainly, a result of persistent journalistic work, a sign of growth of trust and interest from the audience to the state Internet mass media”, Shamil Valeyev, the Bashinform News Agency’s editor-in-chief said.

From the beginning of 2000 the news by Bashinform is available in open access. Daily the website is visited by 8 to 12 thousand users which on average read 2-3 news at the time.
