A technical check of emergency Public Address and General Alarm system has begun in Bashkiria

On July 26, in Volga Federal District a technical check of the regional Public Address and General Alarm system is conducted from 10 to 12 a.m. The actions are held in connection with recent tragic events, the strongest flooding and loss of lives in the Krasnodar Territory, and also to execute the commission of the plenipotentiary of the President RF.

In Ufa near crossing of Kirov and Parhomenko Streets the first sounds of siren sounded approximately at 10.10 a.m. local time. The distinct, loud signal reached from the Ufa Vitamin Factory.

The press-service of Central Administrative Board of the Ministry for Emergency Measures of Russia on Bashkortostan Republic informs that the check is carried out with involvement of all available in the republican territory electric sirens and include announcement on radio and television channels of the following message:

— Attention! Dear inhabitants and visitors of Bashkortostan Republic. Technical check of Public Address and General Alarm is carried out! Technical check of Public Address and General Alarm is carried out! We ask you to maintain peace and order.
