Rustem Khamitov estimated work of a social canteen in Ufa

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has paid a visit to the social canteen, opened in April 2011 in one of Ufa districts. About 60 people had lunch there at that moment – mainly moms with kids.

As the President of Bashkortostan was told, socially unprotected citizens may use services of this social canteen: disabled people, pensioners, parents, having many children, low-bracket categories of population and people without permanent residence.

Rustem Khamitov wished all visitors bon appetite and talked to them about canteen’s work and quality of meals.

Talking about work of such public catering institutions the President of Bashkortostan was told that two social canteens were opened in Ufa for today. The Minister of labor and population social protection RB Lenara Ivanova reported that similar social canteens started working in the town of Blagoveshensk and in Kyurgazinsky, Iglinsky and Tuimazinsky regions of the Republic.

“We shall definitely spread this experience on other towns and regions” – she promised.

“This practice should be spread all over” – the President RB stated – “Such canteens have to be opened in every town and region of our Republic”.
