Medals “Motherhood Glory” were presented by Government RB

Regular ceremony of presentation of Republican awards to mothers, rearing five and more kids, has taken place in the Government RB today. 58 women from different towns and regions of Bashkortostan were rewarded with these medals. The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov presented the awards.

“Today we gathered here on very pleasant occasion” – he said – “Together with these medals you receive recognition of our society. I’d like to underscore that close attention of the state to mothers with many kids is the base of stability in our society, the guarantee of family values’ support and the action, held here today, is bright evidence that the society fully understands the importance of motherhood’s problems. It is not accidentally that the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov declared 2012 the Year of happy childhood and family values. The relief to families – motherhood, fatherhood and childhood – remains one of the top priorities of our social policy”.

The Vice-Premier has reminded that the program of state backing in the Republic consists of the whole series of economic, social and legal measures.

“Special attention is paid to families with many kids. Such families may have privileges in payments for housing and communal services, transport etc. Families, which stand before the necessity to improve their living conditions, receive special housing certificates. Families, rearing ten and more kids, receive microvans “Gazelle” and there are 64 such families in Bashkortostan now. Serious attention is paid to problems of orphans and kids, left without parental care. At present time there are 19 thousand such kids in the Republic. Republican budget pays one-time monetary allowance to foster families and we believe that this is the most convenient form of adoption. None of other Russian regions has such form of state backing now”.

On behalf of the President RB and the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov thanked all mothers for their hard labor and presented them the awards.
