57 forest fires are registered in Bashkiria: 313 hectares of wood suffered from fire

For the past days in Bashkiria one low forest fire arisen from a lightning discharge was localised and liquidated in the Zilairsky forest area on July 4. From fire two hectares of wood suffered here.

Besides, two forest fires in Avzjansky and one fire in Burzjansky forest areas were localised. The total area of these three emergency situations in the forest makes 5,3 hectares.

In addition one large fire with the area of 18,4 hectares was localised on Friday July 6, at 11 a.m. in Zilairsky region of our republic, in the territory of the Kananikolsky forest area.

One more fire found out the day before in the Burzjansky forest area was extinguished today, on July 6. The fire ran through six hectares of forest, the press-service of the Ministry of Forestry RB informs.

In total from the beginning of fire-hazardous season of 2012 in the territory of republican forest reserves 57 forest fires were registered. The total area passed by fire exceeds 313 hectares.
