Ufa will receive participants of international conference “50+: All pluses of mature age”

International conference “50+: all pluses of mature age”, initiated by the Government RB and supported by the President of Bashkortostan, will be held in Ufa on September 17-18 and it is called to attract attention to problems of representatives of older generation and to involve them in active life of public society.

The program of this big forum was discussed on Thursday, July 5, within the frames of the corresponding workgroup. The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Fidus Yamaltdinov indicated two main directions of the future conference: medicine and social policy. Scientific-practical aspects will be discussed in the course of such sections as “Actual problems of gerontology” and “Active longevity: new tendencies of social policy and practice”.

Besides, “round tables” and master-classes in basics of handicraft, medicine and gardening are planned too as well as an exhibition of goods and services, recommended to people of older generation, the press-service of the Ministry of labor and population social protection reported.

Heads of regional executive power bodies, local self-government bodies, non-commercial organizations and trade-industry chambers of the country are invited. Participation of representatives of Russian Ministry of labor and social protection, World Health Organization, international and Russian public organizations and business structures is expected too.
