Taxi drivers started to be fined for transportation of passengers without special permission

Almost 2800 permissions for passengers transportation by cars are issued in Bashkortostan within the limits of realisation of the Federal Law concerning taxi, which come into force on September 1, 2011. The general number of applications from taxi companies wishing to legalise their activity exceeds 3000, the State Committee on Transport and Road Facilities, responsible for organisation and regulation of passenger transportations by automobile transport informs on Wednesday, July 4.

Activity among businessmen concerning reception of permissions is now observed as since July 1, 2012 amendments to Administrative Offences Code RF come into force providing for imposing on the driver of a fine at a rate of five thousand roubles for rendering services of passengers and luggage transportation without a special permission, it is marked on the department’s website.
