Slovak Peter Sagan from "Liquigas –Cannondale” team was the first at the long 198-kilometre stage of cycling race «Tour de France» from Liege to Seraing.

Russians Vladimir Gusev, Denis Menshov and Edward Vorganov finished in the group of leaders.

Leadership in the general offset was retained by Swiss Fabian Cancellara («RadioShack-Nissan»). The captain of Russian "Katusha" Denis Menchov rose on the sixth place, his team mate, Vladimir Gusev, Ufa sportsman from the cycling centre "Agidel" took the 24th place.
