Unique in Bashkiria ecological vehicle collected 5600 mercury lamps

In Mesyagutovo village of Duvansky region about three thousand luminescent, energy saving lamps were collected by ecological vehicle of "Tabigat" company, within the limits of the environment-oriented event which took place here.

As "Bashinform" agency was informed all mercury lamps taken from the population and enterprises and organisations of Duvansky region will be delivered to the special landfill of hazardous waste recycling in Sterlitamak.

We should remind that the State Unitary Enterprise "Tabigat"’s project on free collecting of mercury products is aimed, first of all, at formation at local residents competent and responsible approach to hazardous waste disposal.

In total from the beginning of 2012 more than 5600 fulfilled energy saving lamps were collected from the republican population by the only one in Bashkiria drop-off station for quicksilver-bearing products - the ecological vehicle.
