Ufa welcomed participants of "Beijing-Moscow" motor rally

Ufa welcomed participants of the long "Beijing-Moscow" motor rally. They arrived in the capital of Bashkortostan on June 26, late at night. On Wednesday June 27, a press conference with participants of the rally took place in the hotel «Amax-Tourist Hotel».

The motor rally "Beijing-Moscow" started on June 5, from the capital of the People's Republic of China, as one of official events of the Year of the Russian tourism in China. The finish in Moscow is planned for July 3.

The route makes about 10 thousand kilometres. It covers four provinces of China and 18 regions of Russia. Participants include 31 persons, 16 from them are from China. Representatives of leading Chinese and Russian mass-media (from the Chinese party these are news agencies "Xinhua", the International Radio of China, 10th Canal of the Central TV of China and others) take part in the rally.

The primary goal of the motor rally is to develop intercultural relations between Russia and China, attract attention of the public to traveling by car, and also Russian and foreign investments into the tourist branch.

Naberezhnye Chelny becomes the following point of this stage journey, the head of motor rally Alexey Ljutkevich informed. The following stop is planned in Kazan, and then through Nizhni Novgorod participants will arrive in Moscow. According to Alexey Ljutkevich, a motor rally on a return route by cars made in Russia is planned in 2013.

In the beginning of the press conference the chairman of the State Committee RB on Business and Tourism Ruslan Kinzikeev held a presentation of tourist resources of Bashkortostan.

After dialogue with journalists a sightseeing tour of Ufa was organised for participants of the motor rally.
