Citizen of Beloretsk has become winner of international award “Philanthropist”

According to the decision of the organizing committee and the jury of the international award “Philanthropist” a citizen of Beloretsk Valerie Gryzlin – a first group sight-disabled person – has become one of its laureates in 2012 in the nomination “Mastery Art”, press-service of the Ministry of labor and population social protection RB reports.
Solemn flower ceremony has taken place in Moscow. The award “Philanthropist” is a wide-scaled charity project, organized by Russian Society of Disabled Persons and the non-commercial organization “Fund Philanthropist”. The award is given for outstanding achievements of disabled people in sphere of culture and art. The project encourages all public circles to support disabled people, who want and are able to live and work actively. The project is supported by the Government of Russian Federation and Moscow Government and is included into the program “Culture of Russia”.
The contest is held once in two years and for 12 years more than 6 thousand disabled people from 31 countries have taken part in it. More than 300 people have become its laureates.
More than 1000 applications from Russian regions and CIS states, including Bashkortostan, have been submitted to the contest-2012 in such nominations as mastery art, fine arts and poetry. 49 laureates and 30 diploma-winners have been asseverated by the organizing committee and the contest’s jury.
