Exhibition of social photography “Close to Heart” will be opened in Ufa

Republican exhibition-contest of social photography “Close to Heart”, devoted to the Year of happy childhood and family values, announced in the Republic, will be opened in Ufa, in the building of State Council RB, on May 24. The goal of this movable exposition is attraction of public attention to social problems. Besides, the initiator of the project – “Independent Ural Newspaper” – pursues one more important goal – the rise of the professional level of social photography in the Republic.

During one year the best works will be placed in big trade and business centers all over the Republic. Flower ceremony for winners is appointed on June 1, the Children Protection Day.

All works will be presented in three nominations: “Close to Heart”, “These are Our Children” and “Unknown Ufa”.

The exhibition is organized by the Ombudsman for child rights in RB, the Ministry of labor and population social protection RB and by the Ministry for youth policy and sport RB. News agency “Bashinform”, public organization “Public Line”, management company “ASTRUM” and some others are the partners of the project.
