A charity action of UNESCO has taken place in Ufa

The educational UNESCO project “Education for All” and “Inclusive Education “ and the international project of the Committee for UNESCO Affairs RB “Speech therapy aid for children and teenagers with disturbances of speech, hearing and breathing” are realized in Bashkortostan during two years. Thanks to these projects German colleagues and friends of Bashkortostan have got to know about destiny of Ilyas – a small citizen of Sterlitamac and haven’t remained indifferent to it.

Professor Herdi Sobeck-Boiter from Stuttgart – one of the initiators of the project from German side-mentioned: “The destiny of Ilyas bound our roads and brought us to the idea to ask ourselves about the future of our kids”. German colleagues helped Ilyas with assistance of public initiatives of Bashkortostan and the land of Baden-Wurttemberg. Within the frames of the project organization of joint actions on cooperation between medical institutions of Bashkortostan and Stuttgart and Tubingen on conducting complicated medical operations with the use of innovational technologies and with participation of German specialists and friends of Bashkortostan is planned.

Herdi Sobeck-Boiter is also closely connected with the theatrical world and for many years she is busy with organization of charity performances in Germany. The troupe of the Russian Dramatic Theater in Ufa under the guidance of the art director Michael Rabinovitch supported the idea to hold a charity action in our city. Thus, charity action of UNESCO “Kind Heart” was held by the Russian Dramatic Theater. The musical of Kim Breitburg and Karen Kavaleryan “Blue Cameo” has been shown within its frames. Such humanitarian action was held in the Republic for the first time and medical aid to the children within the frames of abovementioned UNESCO projects was its main goal.

Public initiatives of our countries united around destinies of sick children. The means, collected thanks to this action, will be spent for the aid to the children, found under protection of UNESCO project “Speech therapy aid to children and teenagers with disturbances of speech, hearing and breathing”, the press-service of the Committee for UNESCO Affairs RB reported.
