Young scientists from Volga federal district will gather in Ufa

Regular forum of young scientists from Volga federal district will be held on May 17-18 at the Ufa State Oil Technical University. The topic, offered for discussion, will be: “Perfection of sphere of science and education in Russia: problems, priorities and prospects”. Plenary sessions and thematic sections, devoted to actual problems of science and education, a practical seminar for development of international cooperation in this sphere, presentations of various organizations and funds, supporting such international cooperation, and the discussion concerning commercialization of the results of scientific investigations and technological transfers are scheduled within the frames of the forum. Besides, participants of the forum may present their science-intensive technologies and acquaint themselves with innovational designs of young scientists of Volga federal district at special exhibition.

The chairman of the Russian Union of young scientists Alexander Sheglov and representatives of leading German organizations and funds (the biggest in the world), supporting international cooperation in sphere of science, education and innovations, such as the head of the Representative Office of German scientific-Investigational Society in Russia and CIS, the deputy head of the German House of Science and Innovations in Moscow Yarn Achterberg, the head of the Moscow division of Helmholtz Society Martin Zandhop, representative of the Alexander von Humboldt Fund in Moscow Peter Stephanovitch and the curator of the projects of the German House of Science and Innovations Michael Rusakov expected to take part in the forum. German delegation will meet the directors of leading scientific organizations and education institutions of the region.

The federal internet-portal of intellectual youth renders informational support to this scientific gathering.

The forum is organized by the regional division of the Russian Union of young scientists, the Ufa State Oil Technical University and by the regional division “ISEK-UFA” of the international youth student organization. The forum is held with the assistance of the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Volga federal district, the administration of the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Volga federal district in Bashkortostan, Presidential Administration RB and the German House of Science and Innovations (DWIN) in Moscow.
