Special Olympic competitions on equestrian sports to be held in Ufa

The unique project is initiated in Ufa for already the third time. The republican equestrian festival for children with restricted health abilities is held in Ufa on the base of the Republican hippo-therapy center for children with disabilities (Aurora Street, 18 near the hospital N22).

The director of the center Natalie Nikitina reports the festival will be opened on May 16 at 14 o’clock and special Olympic competitions on equestrian sports are initiated within its frames. The main goal is development and popularization of equestrian sports and riding among children with disabilities, encouragement of activity of the organizations, specializing in rehabilitation, adaptation and integration of disabled people and people, suffering mental deficiency, in the society, development and consolidation of friendly cooperation between Republican correctional schools.

The festival is held with assistance of the Ministry for education RB, the Ministry for youth policy and sport RB and the Bashkir Institute of physical culture and is dated to the Children Protection Day.
