Russian-German summer school of sociologists will again start working in Bashkiria

The summer school of sociologists, for the first time initiated by the Bashkir State University in 2011, will again start working on May 5 (in the sanatorium “Avant-garde”) and popular sociologist fr om Germany, professor of the University from Wuppertal Folker Ronge will be one of the main lecturers.

The topic of the new school is “Mass-media in communicative society”. Besides, M-r Ronge will read one more lecture in English language for students of economic faculty “Russia – member 154 to WTO”.

Folker Ronge is an experienced specialist in sphere of general and political sociology, professor of Wuppertal University. He lectured in Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, Russia, Slovakia and China. Besides, in Russia he was making sociological investigations and political consulting. The model of summer school for sociologists was already successfully tested by him in cooperation with Moscow State University of press and Byelorussian State University of radioelectronics and information sciences. Bashkir State University has become the third institute of Russia and CIS, wh ere this project became a reality.
