Contest of social initiatives “Volga Zone for Life-2012” to be held in Penza

Volga federal district announced acceptance of applications for participation in the regional contest of social initiatives “Volga Zone for Life-2012”. Students of higher and secondary special education institutions, active young people and public organizations from regions, found in the staff of Volga federal district, including Bashkortostan, are invited, the press-service of the chief federal inspector in Republic of Bashkortostan reported to the news agency “Bashinform”.

The contest is aimed at consolidation of families, growth of birth rate, overcoming of demographic crisis, shortening of the number of abortions and at attraction of wide public attention to the necessity of conducting social and cultural policy, based on traditional family values.

The contest will consist of three stages: elimination stage within the frames of regional education institutions, the regional stage and the final one. The festival “Volga Zone for Life-2012” will take place on May 29, 2012, in Penza. Winners will go to Moscow for presentation of their projects at international level.
