International Hockey Federation Directorate estimates readiness of Ufa for youth world championship-2013

Representatives of International Ice Hockey Federation, Russian Ice Hockey Federation, Canada Hockey Federation and TV Company “TSN” will visit Ufa on March 21-23. They will arrive in the capital of Bashkortostan to discuss preparations for the forthcoming youth ice hockey world championship. It will be held in Ufa on December 26, 2012 – January 5, 2013.

Ministry for youth policy and sport RB reports several meetings, devoted to preparation and holding of the championship, will take place within the frames of the visit. One meeting will take place on March 21 in the conference-hall of Ministry for youth policy and sport RB with participation of the Presidential Consultant, the deputy chairman of the organizational committee Nikolai Kurapov and the heads of the championship’s workgroups.

The championship’s matches will be held on two ice arenas: in Ufa Sports Palace and in “Ufa-Arena”.

On March 22 and 23 the guests will inspect these sports objects and the hotels, prepared for residence of the championship’s participants – “President-Hotel”, “Bashkortostan”, “Iremel”, “Azimuth” and “Tan”.

The meeting with the leadership RB will become the key event of the visit. Further plans of preparations for this sports event and the most actual problems will be discussed in the course of it.
