Christian Book Day in Kumertau

The Day of Christian Book has for the first time taken place in the town of Kumertau, the press-service of Bashkortostan’s Metropolitanate reported.

The Day of Christian Book was held in the local cinema theater “Miner”. It was opened with the exhibition of Christian literature and continued with the discussion, organized between two teams of young people. One team was standing for advantages of traditional printed editions and another one – for electronic books. After the end of the discussion the participants of the festival voted for and against traditional and e-books. The video record of the speech of the Patriarch of Moscow and the whole of Russia Cyril, devoted to the Day of Christian Book, was demonstrated after discussion.
