Vegetarian festival “Veggy Fest” to take place in Ufa

Public movement “Eco” will hold vegetarian festival – “Veggy Fest” – on Saturday, March 17, in 11 regions of the country, including Bashkortostan. The “Eco” curator in Bashkortostan Guzelle Latypova says that tasting of various vegetarian dishes is waiting for all participants of the festival.

“The main goal of “Veggy Fest” is not to convince people to become vegetarians but to explain them that reduction of meat consumption or complete refusal from it positively influences upon human nature and health. We will also tell about that connection, existing between vegetarianism and ecology. We mustn’t forget that this is also popularization of healthy nutrition and promotion of ecological foods, manufactured by local farmers and ecological communities”.

Vladimir, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Kostroma, Orenburg, Nizhniy Novgorod and Tula regions, Saint-Petersburg, Krasnodar region and Altai already joined the participants of the festival.

The festival “Veggy Fest” will be organized in “Coral Club”, Ufa, to the address: October Avenue,180. The beginning is at 12 o’clock.
