Social sciences remain the most popular subject in uniform state exam in Bashkiria

The majority of school-leavers in Bashkiria prefer passing social sciences of the uniform state exam’s subjects as well as in 2011, the head of education quality estimation dept of Ministry for education RB Zaki Murzagalin reported to “Bashinform” on Tuesday, March 6.

“According to preliminary data 15475 school-leavers expressed the desire to pass social sciences” – he said – “This subject meets high demand when entering juridical and economic specialties, where the competition is traditionally high. Physics stands on the second place (11424 participants), biology comes the next (6907), history (5574), chemistry (5441) and information sciences (4122). The number of school-leavers, wishing to pass English language (2150), geography (1963), literature (1673), German language (64) and French language (11) is the least and there are no former pupils in the Republic, wishing to pass Spanish language.

The major part of school-leavers will start passing the uniform state exam on May 28 and will finish passing it on June 21 (including repeating). Within this period of time about 27400 people intend to pass the uniform state exam in Bashkortostan. 27302 people will pass obligatory Russian language and 26877 – mathematics.
