Bashkortostan will be presented at International Congress for winter kinds of sport, tourism and active recreation

“Within the frames of the International Congress for winter kinds of sport, tourism and active recreation we have to demonstrate not only our famous Alpine skiing center “ABZAKOVO” but also places of interest in Ufa, other Alpine skiing centers and tourist objects: Pavlov Park, Alpine skiing centers “KUSH-TAU”, “UAZY-TAU” and “MRATKINO” – the Vice-Premier of the Government RB Salavat Sagitov has mentioned during the governmental meeting on Thursday, February 16, with participation of the director of the project “Forum Sporting State”, vice-president of Russian Alpine Ski Industry Union Alexei Stepanov and director of the project “International Congress for winter kinds of sport, tourism and active recreation”, general director of the company “SPORTACADEMREKLAMA” Andre Alexandrov.

The Minister for youth politics and sport RB Andre Ivanuta, the chairman of the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB Ruslan Kinzikeev and the deputy chairman of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Azat Fazlyev were invited too.

The International Congress for winter kinds of sport, tourism and active recreation is held since 2006 on the territory of one of Russian or CIS Alpine skiing centers and initiated by the Russian Alpine Ski Industry Union. The company “SPORTACADEMREKLAMA” is the operator of the project.

250-300 people expected to take part in the Congress, which is to be held in Ufa in April – mainly organizers of tourist industry and investors. The Congress will start in Ufa and will last here during two days (Plenary session and excursions). The business program and master-classes will be continued in the Alpine skiing center “ABZAKOVO”.

“The International Congress is included into the program of the international forum “Sports State”. The forum will take place in Yakutsk in 2012. We are interested in popularization of Bashkortostan there and it will be a sort of prolonged action” – Alexei Stepanov mentioned.

Immediately after the end of the governmental meeting members of the delegation together with representatives of the Ministry for youth policy and sport RB have visited sports and tourist objects of the capital RB: sanatorium “Green Valley”, Alpine skiing center “AK-YORT” and “Olympic Park”, sports centers “”Ski Jump” and “Biathlon”.

The business visit will continue on Friday, February 17. The guests will visit the settlement ABZAKOVO and after that they will leave for Magnitogorsk to meet the leadership of Magnitogorsk metallurgical plant and the Government of Chelyabinsk region.
