Bashkir cinematographers are invited to participation in all-Russian ecological contest “Meridian of Hope”

The II all-Russian film festival “Meridian of Hope” will take place in April 2012 in Saint-Petersburg within the frames of the World Environment Day – the Day of Ecologist. The main goal of the forthcoming festival is attraction of public attention, authority and mass-media to the existing ecological problems in the country.

The festival is initiated by the Federal Service for Supervision in Sphere of Nature Management and by the Union of Cinematographers of Saint-Petersburg.

Representatives of Bashkortostan have taken an active part in the first ecological festival “Meridian of Hope” and it is quite possible that Bashkir delegation will take part in the same festival this year too.
