Reception of applications for mass-media contest “We Make Roads better!’ is close to the end

The reception of applications for participation in the all-Russian journalist contest “We Make Roads Better!’ is close to the end and the deadline is February 17, the initiator of the contest – the Federal Road Agency (ROSAVTODOR) reports.

The contest is held within the frames of the federal goal-oriented program “Development of Russian transport system in 2010-2015”.

Any mass-media materials (printed, TV, radio, internet) as well as the materials, published in blogs within the period between January 1, 2011 and January 3, 2012, may take part in the contest.

The contest consists of six nominations for mass-media and one for bloggers: “Building of the Century” – the best material, devoted to construction of new transport objects; “Road Exchequer” – the best material, devoted to financing of the road branch; “People Who Build Roads” – the best work, devoted to road builders; “From the First Face” – the best interview about road economy; “How It Was” – the best report from the main building sites of the country; “Leading Edge” – the best material about situation with roads in Russian regions.

Bloggers will compete for the victory in the nomination “Road Network” - the best materials, registered in blogs and devoted to problems in road branch.

Totals of the contest will be summed up before March 30, 2012, and winners will be rewarded with diplomas, “ROSAVTODOR” statuettes and valuable prizes.
